Exterior Painting by Premier Painting -

Your Central Texas Painting Contractor

Choose Premier Painting to give the exterior of your home a fresh look.  Applying a fresh coat of paint is one of the most cost effective ways to give your home an updated style and add value.  Whether you are looking to change your home's appearance, refresh your exterior, preparing to sell your home, or have recently purchased a home and want to add your own style, Premier Painting has you covered!  At your complimentary Color Consultation, we will work with you to choose a color palette that will make your home look great.

Surface Preparation

When beginning any exterior paint project, the first step is to properly prepare all surfaces to be painted.  This may include power washing, scraping, and sanding to remove any dirt and peeling paint that would prevent a new coat of paint from properly adhering.  During this process, we take special care to not damage any surfaces.  Mose homes will require some scraping and sanding to ensure the removal of all loose paint.  We will assess your home to determine the level of surface preparation needed.

Protecting Your Home

We take careful precaution to make sure we only paint the areas you want painted.  We request that you move items out of the work area (we will be glad to help you if needed).  Please be mindful of plants and shrubs that must remain in the work area (especially plants that touch the area to be painted) and understand that we must be able to access these areas to apply paint.  We recommend trimming these plants before we arrive to ensure that we can access all areas to be painted.  Any items that cannot be moved will be covered with plastic protective sheeting.  Large surfaces, such as driveways and sidewalks, will be covered with canvas dropcloths.  If surfaces will be painted with sprayers, areas not to be painted will be appropriately masked with paper or plastic.

Caulking & Filling

Cracks and gaps are filled with caulking prior to painting.  This process will seal out moisture and pests (not to mention make your home more energy efficient).  Small damaged areas to wood / siding can be filled with a wood filler before painting.  This will seal and prevent excess damage to the area without it having to be completely replaced as well as improve the appearance of the damaged area.

Paint Application

If priming is recommended (although it is not always necessary), we will apply a quality primer to your surfaces before applying the top coat.  After any necessary priming, we apply two coats of quality paint to your exterior surfaces.  Premier Painting utilizes brush, roller, and spray techniques to create a beautiful finish that will stand the test of time.   Trim, doors, windows and shutters are painted with special enamel paints designed to provide a beautiful and durable finish.
